What Zidequest is

One small thing to do each day, chosen for the weather you describe. You are responsible for deciding whether any given Zidequest is safe and sensible for you to do. Some of them send you outside, some involve other people, and none of them know anything about your circumstances beyond the two questions the app asks.

Use your judgement. Do not do something that would put you or anybody else at risk, and do not treat a Zidequest as instruction or advice. If one looks unsafe, there is a report control on every Zidequest and a safety report pulls it from circulation while it is looked at.

Your account

You need an account, and you need to be old enough to have one where you live. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You can delete your account at any time from Profile, and doing so removes your profile, your streak, your history and your photos.

Zidequest Plus

Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, sold monthly or yearly. Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us, and we never see your card details. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off at least 24 hours before that period ends.

Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not here. We cannot cancel it for you and we cannot issue refunds, because the payment is not ours to reverse. Both stores have their own refund process.

Extra Zidequests and streak saves are one-time purchases. They are consumed when used and are not refundable once spent.

What you write and photograph

Your photos and notes stay yours. You give us permission to store them and show them back to you, and to show them to the people you chose to share a Zidequest with. We do not sell them, publish them, or use them to train anything.

A Zuperquest is the one exception, and it is stated on the submission screen: a person reads the photos and the essay, because that is what the approval is.

If you submit a Zidequest for other people to do, you are confirming it is yours to submit and that it is safe for a stranger to attempt. We can decline, edit or remove any submission, and the content policy says what we will not accept.

Ending it

You can stop using Zidequest whenever you like. We can close an account that is being used to harass somebody, to submit content the content policy prohibits, or to break these terms. Where it is not an emergency, we will say why first.

The boring necessary part

Zidequest is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or always be free of faults, and we are not liable for what happens while you are doing a Zidequest. Nothing here limits rights you have by law where you live.

If we change these terms materially, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
